A style of shallow fishing that allows the fishing line to pass directly through the middle of the float and to run freely. This allows the angler to explore various depths by lifting and dropping the pole tip. A very effective method for Carp and F1s during the warmer months when they will freely feed near the surface. The benefit of the jigger or jigger fishing as it is sometimes referred to is that as the line is kept tight the fish will hook itself and the main indication is the elastic being pulled from the end of the pole.
