These are soaked or softened pellets that once prepared can be used directly on the hook. There are all types and different ways to prepare them but the 2 easiest are those made by Sonubaits. The Pro Expander just needs soaking for an hour or so, with no pumping to stop the floaters and the ready-to-use Sonubaits Hookable Expander, is ready to use straight out of the pot, these tend to be a bit more hook durable.
