Carp

A type of freshwater fish often stocked in lakes. Types include Mirror and Common, these fish have different scale patterns. Common are fully scaled and Mirrors are less than fully scaled and these scale patterns vary from fish to fish. Over types of Carp, include Crucian, Grass Carp and hybrids such as the F1. Carp Can grow to over 50 lbs but most commercial fisheries stock carp quite small and sizes tend to range from a couple of pounds to 10 plus pounds, Carp fisheries where specimen fish are the main target tend to have fish in the 20-plus range.
